Fun At The 2010 Autojumble

Congratulations are in order for the “Club T MG” car group for putting on another very successful Autojumble.  We got there early, and all three cars made it to the show without incident.  We took a ’74 MGB, a ’52 MGTD, and a ’80 MGB.  Stan had a trailer load of parts and we were there and set up by 7:00 am.  Yes that’s 7:00am  in the morning on Sunday.  Boy it was cold, it made it worse that I left the gas heater at the shop.  The crowds were pretty light at 8:00, but by 9:00 things were hopping.

Several other vendors were there.  What was great to see was that many people had boxed up there old unwanted parts and figured they could bring them in and find them a new home.

This is what this show is about.  None of us want to throw anything away, and if you can get a few bucks back in the kitty, all the better.  There were also several cars for sale, some at reasonable prices.  Most importantly there were a bunch of British Car Owners getting together for a day and just enjoying the company of friends.

I want to especially thank all of you who stopped by the booth.  It is always nice to see old friends.  All of us here at the shop want you to enjoy your car whether it’s an MG, Morris, Austin, Triumph or any other British Sports Car, we want to make it easy for you to own a piece of sports car history, and have fun doing it.  We hope all of you enjoyed the day as much as we did.

We hope to see you at our “Open House and Queen’s Rally” on May 8th.  Doors open at 9:00 am.
