The Open House was a Great Success

The rain held off just long enough today, and we were able to get our “Open House” in and the “Queen’s Rally” went very well, (all the cars came back).

I want to thank all of you who braved the weather forecast and came out to the shop.  It was fantastic to see everybody.  Special thanks to Stan and all my crew for working hard to get the place cleaned up and ready for visitors.  I hope every one had as much fun as we all did.

Here are some pictures from today-

We had the showroom and shop full-

A special congratulations go to Jim and Dana Mounts who drove their TR-6 to victory in the “Queens Rally”.  The two of them have been competing for several years now.  In fact they use to drive separate cars, (Dana had an MGB that she really loved).  It should be noted that Jim never beat Dana in a separate event.  Good idea to get her on your team Jim!  Congratulations!!

WaaaHooo! What a day for a drive!

It was great to paticipate in your annual open-house and “Queens Ralley”. Makes us want to do it again. We sure enjoyed the morning, graciously hosted by British Autoworks with time for social visiting and curvey driving along the ralley course. All that excitement goes good with doughnuts and sandwiches to munch on too. It all makes me want to drive kinda fast.

We are looking forward to visiting more often this summer. There seems to be alot going on in that shop that looks pretty interesting.

The Fun Is In The Doing!
